This Privacy Policy explains how Nuon Energy LLC ("Nuon Energy," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Nuon Energy QuickBooks Integration (the "Application"), a private software application used by Nuon Energy LLC to access and manage its own accounting data maintained in Intuit QuickBooks Online.
The Application is an internal business tool. It is not offered to the public and is used solely by Nuon Energy LLC and its authorized personnel to administer the company's own books and records.
When authorized through Intuit's OAuth 2.0 process, the Application accesses accounting and financial data from the company's QuickBooks Online account through Intuit's APIs. This may include transactions, invoices, bills, payments, customers, vendors, employees, the chart of accounts, and financial reports. The Application also stores the OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to maintain the authorized connection.
We use this information only for legitimate internal business purposes, including bookkeeping, categorization and correction of records, financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis for Nuon Energy LLC. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing or any unrelated purpose.
OAuth tokens are stored securely on authorized devices (for example, in the operating system's encrypted credential store/keychain). Financial data is accessed on demand through Intuit's APIs and is handled only by authorized personnel. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect this information.
We do not share company financial data with third parties except: (a) Intuit, as the source system and API provider; (b) service providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; or (c) as required by law.
Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above. The connection can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the Application from within the Intuit/QuickBooks account, which terminates the Application's access.
The Application is a business tool and is not directed to or intended for use by children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
